Za měsíc červen jsme pro projekt “Górakša – ochrana krav” přijali finanční příspěvky v celkové výši: 20 786 Kč. Z toho je 7 550 Kč příspěvek na voly od Pádajátry (putující festival).
Na konci června se nám narodila nová telátka: Khadžalakí (kravičce Uttaře) a dva býčci (dvojčata) – Nakula a Sahadéva (kravičce Vaikunthě).

“Ochrana býků a krav a ostatních zvířat je možná jedině tehdy, když státu vládne panovník jako Mahārāja Parīkṣit. Mahārāja Parīkṣit oslovil krávu jako matku, protože je to kulturní dvojzrozený kṣatriyský král. Surabhi je jméno krav, které žijí na duchovních planetách a o které se Osobně stará Nejvyšší Pán Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Stejně jako lidé jsou stvořeni k obrazu Božímu, tedy podle podoby Nejvyššího Pána, tak krávy jsou stvořeny podle krav surabhi z duchovního království. V hmotném světě poskytuje lidská společnost veškerou ochranu lidským bytostem, ale neexistuje zákon na ochranu potomků Surabhi, kteří dokonale chrání lidi tím, že jim dávají zázračnou potravu — mléko. Mahārāja Parīkṣit a Pāṇḍuovci si však byli plně vědomi, jakou významnou úlohu hraje kráva a býk a byli připraveni potrestat člověka, který se je pokouší zabíjet, i trestem nejvyšším — trestem smrti. Někdy probíhají kampaně za ochranu krav, ale jelikož chybí zbožní panovníci a vhodné zákony, krávy a býci žádnou ochranu nedostávají. Lidská společnost by měla uznat důležitost krávy a býka a dát těmto významným zvířatům veškerou ochranu, jak to ukázal Mahārāja Parīkṣit. Budeme-li chránit krávy a bráhmanskou kulturu, Pán, který je velice laskavý ke kravám a brāhmaṇům (go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya), s námi bude potěšen a dá nám skutečný mír.” – Šríla Prabhupáda, Šrímad Bhágavatam 1.17.9 význam.
GORAKSHA – June 2023
For the month of June we received financial contributions for the project „Goraksa – cow protection“ in the total amount of 20 786 CZK. Of this, CZK 7,550 is a contribution for oxen from Padayatra (travelling festival).
At the end of June we had new calves: Khajalaki (to Uttar) and two bulls (twins) – Nakula and Sahadeva (to Vaikuntha).

Protection of bulls and cows and all other animals can be possible only when there is a state ruled by an executive head like Mahārāja Parīkṣit. Mahārāja Parīkṣit addresses the cow as mother, for he is a cultured, twice-born, kṣatriya king. Surabhi is the name of the cows which exist in the spiritual planets and are especially reared by Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa Himself. As men are made after the form and features of the Supreme Lord, so also the cows are made after the form and features of the surabhi cows in the spiritual kingdom. In the material world the human society gives all protection to the human being, but there is no law to protect the descendants of Surabhi, who can give all protection to men by supplying the miracle food, milk. But Mahārāja Parīkṣit and the Pāṇḍavas were fully conscious of the importance of the cow and bull, and they were prepared to punish the cow killer with all chastisement, including death. There has sometimes been agitation for the protection of the cow, but for want of pious executive heads and suitable laws, the cow and the bull are not given protection. The human society should recognize the importance of the cow and the bull and thus give all protection to these important animals, following in the footsteps of Mahārāja Parīkṣit. For protecting the cows and brahminical culture, the Lord, who is very kind to the cow and the brāhmaṇas (go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya), will be pleased with us and will bestow upon us real peace.” – Srila Prabhupada, Srimad Bhagavatam 1.17.9 purport.
